In addition to our regular market hours, we are also open for wild game check-in’s Sunday evenings from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm from October 1st through January 1st.
With our reputation as one of the premier wild game processing facilities in Kansas, we have hunters that bring us their wild game from all across the Midwest. While deer is the most common wild game brought to us for processing, we also process a good amount of antelope, elk and moose.
An average wild animal will yield about 50-60% of hanging weight depending on the cleanliness and care prior to checking the animal in at our facility.
Standard wild game processing rates include the processing of standard cuts including steaks, roasts, chops and ground meat, wrapped in freezer paper and flash frozen. You may tell us the cuts that you would like when you check in your wild game. For instance, if you want the “back straps” packaged separate, just tell us when you check -in. All wild game must be field dressed and your tag must accompany the carcass.
